Still day one, still traveling up CA Hwy 395. After seeing Mt. Whitley, we visited the Mono Lakes region and saw several lakes; June Lake, Grant Lake and Silver Lake. We visited Mono Lake, a crater lake and geological wonder. Very interesting! Back in the car - on our way to Yosemite next...
OMG - June Lake was my most favorite lake of all time! We barely stopped - just to look on our Harley tour - but the water was seriously the MOST beautiful color I've ever seen and the houses that lined the lake were so adorable. I hope it was as memorable for you ;-P
